I start my mornings with a cup of hot water and lemon. Good for so many reasons.
Today however, I fancied something with a little more oomph and I remembered how much I enjoyed lemon ginger tea in the past.
So I made some of my own.
I simply sliced the lemon and ginger finely and steeped it in hot-ish water. My son had some too, to which I added a little honey.
It was lovely and warming and yet fresh tasting too.
Next time I think I’ll try adding some fresh basil.
