Crispy Garlic Kale



Recipes for Kale Crisps/chips abound across the internet at the moment. Whilst I often eat it steamed I had yet to try it crispy. It was quick and easy and added nice texture to the fish dish that accompanied it. Kale is so good for you and the boy loved it too! Crispy Garlic Kale Chips Ingredients:

  • Kale, washed and cut into ribbons
  • 0.5 tbs minced garlic
  • 1 tbs olive oil (can use garlic infused oil instead of the minced garlic)
  • salt and pepper to season

Directions:

  1. Steam the kale for 8 minutes with the minced garlic
  2. Place in a bowl and stir through the oil
  3. Season to taste
  4. Spread  the Kale on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes, stiring occasionally to prevent burning, until crunchy
  5. Serve immediately
